Justin Bieber wears his favourite big specs to Megamind premiere

He's the coolest geek in town! 

Justin Bieber put his specs appeal on show as he turned out for the Hollywood premiere of Megamind today.

The 16-year-old singer was once again wearing his favourite big black frames as he greeted fans at the screening.

Before the event, he tweeted: 'Gonna hit the premiere of MEGAMIND to support WILL FERRELL!!!'

The comedian and voice behind the animated comedy was on the red carpet too, dressed in a bright track suit. 

Meanwhile, the teen sensation is gearing up to debut the music video for his song Never Say Never on Saturday during Major League Baseball's Game 3 pre-show.

The best-of-seven series is between the Texas Rangers and the San Francisco Giants. The Giants won the first two games of the series in San Francisco.

Game 3 will take place in Arlington, Texas. Former "American Idol" champion Kelly Clarkson will sing the national anthem in her home state.

Bieber sports gear from both teams in the Never Say Never clip, which was shot at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California.

The song is from the platinum-selling singing sensation's upcoming acoustic CD, due out on Nov. 23.
